Why Merino

Merino is a natural fibre that is renewable and biodegradable.

Wool properties include; natural comfort, temperature regulation, breathability, temperature control, anti static, shape retention, odour resistance, a naturally safe fabric and is easy to care for.

Wool has the greatest capacity to absorb moisture vapour than other fibres. Higher moisture regain means that wool is better able to absorb moisture and so lowers humidity in the microclimate between the skin and fabric.

The chemical structure of wool means that it is naturally flame resistant, and if it does catch alight, it tends to self extinguish.

Research shows babies sleep more and more efficiently with wool.

Wool improves skin symptoms of dryness, redness, pruritis, pain and swelling.
